Out of season long weekends
Why not book out of season and miss the crowds and the intense heat and explore not just the islands and coast line but inland. Croatia and Montenegro have much to offer for everyone.
SPRING
Spring in Croatia and Montenegro is a pleasant temperature 14°C (57°F), especially to go off exploring the coast or discover attractions inland. The popular tourist attractions are quiet. The sea however is cold, we can supply wetsuits if you feel the urge to take a dip or try out our water sports.
AUTUMN
A delightful time to travel. The sea has had all summer to warm up, the air temperatures have calmed down and so have the crowds.
CHRISTMAS
December in Split is a great time of the year to visit, with temperatures of around 55 degrees (13 Celsius), you can easily spend your Christmas in Croatia hanging out on the water front. Just be sure to bring a coat and grab a glass of mulled wine.
Split’s Christmas markets are filled with stands of traditional food, souvenirs and drinks all day long. Look out for the Croatian Christmas cookies made by locals. During the evening secure a position centre stage for the festive concerts and folklore performances. If you like ice skating, then head to Spaladium Arena and lace up your skates.
The entire city of Split enjoys the holiday festive spirit and the city squares provide the focal points of Advent in Split.
